Application

Vaseline offers many applications in the technical field as a medium-strength kerosene cut with a pasty basic structure. Due to its water-preventing (hydrophobic) property and its high resistance to acids and bases, there are a large number of areas of application for rust protection petroleum jelly. Examples include cavity sealing in vehicle construction and building protection, and use as a cable filling compound. Furthermore, this technical petroleum jelly can be used as a lubricant in many applications.
