Buy AdBlue® urea solution (AUS 32) - what to consider:
What is AdBlue® ?
AdBlue® is a 32-percent (AUS 32), synthetically produced, non-toxic, water-clear solution of high-purity urea in water, which has been demineralized beforehand.
How is AdBlue® produced?
The production of AdBlue® is carried out by a chemical dissolved in pure water, the "urea" (also known as carbamide). This is a synthesis product obtained from natural gas , which is used among other things in commercial fertilizers, cosmetics or in plastics.
What is AdBlue® is used ?
AdBlue® helps to reduce pollutant emissions in the automotive industry. This is done through SCR technology. With the help of the latest catalysts developed for diesel engines , also called SCR catalysts, nitrogen oxides can be converted into harmless water vapor and nitrogen. This is achieved by the urea solution AdBlue®, which is dosed into the catalytic converters and thus sets the chemical process in motion. This reduces emissions of harmful nitrogen oxides by up to 90%, enabling compliance with the Euro 6 emissions standard.
Can AdBlue® be used during severe weather?
AdBlue® can withstand all weather conditions within Europe and can therefore be used without any problems. The product freezes at temperatures below -11 °C. Therefore, in the Nordic and colder countries it is essential to use heated AdBlue® pumps. Some SCR trucks have special heating systems that allow the SCR system to operate at colder temperatures.
What are the applications for AdBlue?
The areas of application of the product are vehicles powered by diesel engines: Cars, trucks and agricultural vehicles such as tractors.
