Biogenic solvent in crop protection applications with better solubility than other solvents in this field, e.g. phosphates or acetamides. Soluble in water, chemically and thermally stable.

Application

Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol (THFA) is an environmentally friendly, biogenic water-soluble special solvent based on natural, renewable raw materials, which can also be used very well for biological weed, pest control before, during and after the harvest due to its properties. It also functions as a solvent for coatings as well as in formulations of floor,  graffiti, oven cleaners and for car and truck engine parts. Alone and in combination with other solvents.

Precautions 

Wash hands and other exposed body parts with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving the workplace. Provide process area with good ventilation to prevent formation of vapors.

Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol (THFA) can be used especially whenever environmental considerations and therefore largely non-toxic, water-soluble biodegradable substances are required.

Storage

Store only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from: Heat sources. Keep container closed when not in use.
